Nirman Events helps families collect RSVPs for their wedding functions. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Hosts: mobile number (to log in), wedding name, couple's names, city and function details.
- Guests (added by the host): family name, mobile number, number of people invited and preferred language.
- RSVP answers: who is coming to which function, headcount, food preference (Veg / Jain / Non-veg), and — only if you ask for it — stay, pickup and arrival details.
- Check-in: how many people from a family arrived at a function.
- Usage: basic server logs, and counts of how often ads are seen and clicked.
How we use it
- To show the host who is coming and how many plates, rooms and pickups to arrange.
- To send the invite, reminders and confirmations on WhatsApp.
- To let you change your RSVP using your personal link.
We do not sell personal data. Guest details are visible only to the host of that wedding.
Who we share it with
- Meta (WhatsApp): mobile numbers and message text, to deliver WhatsApp messages.
- Razorpay: if a host upgrades, payment is handled by Razorpay. We never see card or UPI details.
- Google AdSense: on the free plan, some pages may show Google ads, which can use cookies to show relevant ads. You can manage this at adssettings.google.com.
- Hosting providers that store the data for us.
Ads
Weddings on the free plan show a small number of clearly labelled ads from wedding vendors — only after you have sent your RSVP, never inside the RSVP form. Vendor ads are chosen by the wedding's city and function, not by your personal details. Paid weddings show no ads to guests.
How long we keep it
Wedding data is kept while the host's account is active and deleted 12 months after the last function, or sooner if the host deletes the wedding or asks us to.
Your choices
- Guests can change their answer at any time with their RSVP link.
- To have your details removed from a wedding, ask the host, or contact us below.
- Hosts can remove any guest from their list at any time.
